Dr. Shakti Gounden has been a practicing dentist since graduating from the University of Sydney in 2012. Originally from Fiji, he was inspired to pursue dentistry through his involvement in community health programs.

Prior to dentistry, Dr. Gounden completed a Master of Public Health and is passionate about education and raising awareness of oral health as a key factor in preventing dental disease. He has participated in international medical camps, including in Fiji and Cambodia.

Dr. Gounden has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and implant surgery. He is committed to providing patient-centred care and strives to ensure a positive experience for every patient.

Outside of his professional work, Dr. Gounden enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, practicing meditation, and playing golf.
