Full Arch Dental Implants in
Harrington Park and Oran Park

If you’re living with several worn or missing teeth, or dentures that have stopped sitting comfortably, it can start to affect how you eat and how you feel about smiling. Full arch dental implants replace a whole arch of teeth, anchored to your jawbone rather than resting on your gums.

The dentists at Harrington Park Dental Care and Oran Park Dental Care carry out full arch implant treatment across both clinics, including full mouth restoration implants and fixed alternatives to removable dentures.

The first step is a consultation where we can take a look at your remaining teeth, jawbone density and general health. Then, we’ll talk through whether a full arch approach is a suitable option for you.

What Are Full Arch Dental Implants?

Full arch dental implants (also called full mouth or full jaw implants) replace all the teeth in one jaw using a small number of implants as anchors. Rather than placing one implant per tooth, four to six titanium implants are positioned in the jawbone to support a fixed bridge of teeth across the whole arch.

The result is a secure, fixed solution designed to restore everyday function, including eating and speaking, while being cared for much like natural teeth.

Our Full Arch Implant Treatments

Full arch isn’t a single procedure so much as a set of options, and which one suits you depends on the state of your remaining teeth and jawbone. Here’s what we offer at both clinics.

What to Expect from
Full Arch Implant Treatment

Full arch treatment runs in four stages across several months, with healing time between each one.

Free Consultation

Your journey starts with a free consultation to discuss your concerns, goals and the full arch implant options that may be available to you. This initial appointment is for discussion and general guidance only and does not constitute a diagnosis, final treatment plan or fixed quote. Learn More

Clinical Assessment & Treatment Planning

If you would like to proceed, we’ll arrange another appointment, or extend your consultation if time permits, to take detailed 3D scans using our CBCT scanner at Oran Park. A fee applies. These scans help us assess your suitability and finalise your treatment options, plan and quote for you to consider at home.

Extractions and Implant Placement

Any remaining teeth in the arch that need to come out are extracted, and the implants are placed in your jawbone under local anaesthetic. If you’d prefer extra comfort, IV sedation is available at our Oran Park clinic. In many cases, a temporary bridge is fitted the same day so you are not left without teeth during the healing process.

Healing

The implants fuse with your jawbone, typically over three months, through a process called osseointegration. You’ll wear your temporary bridge during this time while everything settles. We’ll also pre-schedule post-operative reviews to monitor your healing, keep you comfortable and identify any concerns early.

Final Trial & Bridge Placement

We’ll trial your new full arch prosthesis to check the shape, feel and bite, making any adjustments before the final prosthesis is made. Once ready, your final teeth are fitted and checked for comfort and function. You’ll also receive clear instructions on caring for your implants at home and between routine dental visits.

Ongoing Care

Dental implants are designed to be a long-term solution, and ongoing care plays an important role in their longevity. Just like natural teeth, your implants and gums need regular professional checks and cleaning but the frequency could vary. We’ll schedule regular check-ups and professional cleans to monitor your implants, gums and overall oral health.
